Titled “Special School cum Resource Centres – Pilot Project of Schools for Social Development”, the 35th issue of the SE Newsletter consists of two parts.  The first part mainly introduces the “Special School cum Resource Centres – Pilot Project of Schools for Social Development” launched by the Education Bureau from 2012/13 to 2014/15 school years, which aims to enhance the support of schools for social development for their leavers in their first year returning to ordinary schools, their parents and the ordinary schools concerned, thereby helping school leavers adapt to school life smoothly and continuously.  The second part mainly introduces the successful experiences of seven special school cum resource centres and their views about the pilot project of schools for social development.  The project was implemented for a total of three years, providing support to more than 400 students, helping them develop their potential and enabling them to regain confidence.
