"Spelling Stars English Group"
The “Spelling Stars English Group” is designed for lower primary students with difficulties in learning English. It aims to help students and their parents to acquire the five spelling strategies that enhance their skills in word recognition, phonics and spelling. The resource package includes lesson plans and worksheets, which can be used in small-group teaching. Additionally, it includes teaching materials for a two-session parent workshop to foster home-school collaboration.

Priority is given to students who are: • Identified with marked (II) or mild (I) learning difficulties in EII (Early Identification and Intervention Programme for Primary One Students with Learning Difficulties) • Able to recognize most letters • With parental support for after-class assistance |
