Writing made Easy: Bridging Strategy (Chinese Version Only)
The online learning materials are designed for helping students with SpLD or weak literacy skills write essays or answer essay-type questions. While using the “Bridging Strategy” to generate ideas, students can use brief notes, signs or symbols to facilitate generation of relevant main points and organisation of details. In teaching this strategy, teachers are advised to provide timely feedback according to students’ responses, demonstrate self-questioning and remind students to use the strategies wherever appropriate, in order to help students internalise and adopt the strategy of their own accord, thus helping them improve their writing performance.
