The Learning, Social and Emotion Adaptation Questionnaire, 2nd Edition (LSEAQ-II)
To assist schools in understanding the learning, social and emotional adaptation needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the Educational Psychology Service (New Territories West) Section of the Education Bureau has compiled "The Learning, Social and Emotional Adaptation Questionnaire (Primary School/Secondary School) – 2nd Edition". This questionnaire contains primary/junior secondary norm references (data for school reference and use only). After school personnel complete the Excel version of the questionnaire, the student's performance will be analyzed in comparison to the norms of mainstream students and those of students with ASD.
This questionnaire is not a formal evaluation instrument. The resulting analysis is intended as preliminary guidance for school support personnel to comprehensively assess students' adaptation situation and strengths/weakness, and to formulate targeted support plans.
The questionnaire (PDF version) can be downloaded via the link below. Interested schools and non-profit organizations (NGO) wishing to obtain the Excel version and user manual (Chinese version only) can email exaepsntw1@edb.gov.hk to make a request with their institutional details.
