Issue no.6 - Overcoming Hearing Impairment Enjoying Inclusion (Part 1)
Titled “Overcoming Hearing Impairment Enjoying Inclusion (Part 1)”, the 6th issue of the SE Newsletter features a set of slides and videos. Through the experience of a student with hearing impairment (HI), the newsletter points out the difficulties students with HI may face. The newsletter also introduces the related services and school-based support measures provided by schools and the Education Bureau (EDB), and encourages parents to refer to the information leaflets prepared by the EDB and watch the programme “Parenting” jointly produced by the EDB, the Department of Health and Radio Television Hong Kong, with a view to enhancing the ability of parents to take care of their children with HI.
