Issue no.25 - Mild Hearing Impairment．Face It with Ease
Titled “Mild Hearing Impairment．Face It with Ease”, the 25th issue of the SE Newsletter mainly introduces the definition of hearing impairment (HI) and the difficulties students with mild HI may encounter at schools. The newsletter points out that students with mild HI can face their HI with ease, overcome the difficulties and develop their potentials effectively as long as schools can render early intervention and sufficient counselling for the students, maintain close liaison with the parents and enhance home-school cooperation, in combination with the professional support services provided by the Education Bureau.
