Identification and Assessment Tools
Students with physical disabilities may have different educational needs. They may find it more challenging to participate in regular school learning and group activities due to limitations in mobility and dexterity. Additionally, their medical conditions and differences in physical abilities may affect their social, emotional, and self-concept development. Schools can use “Toolkit for Supporting Students with Physical Disability (PD) in Ordinary Schools” (Chinese version only) to assess the physical and psychological needs of these students and plan appropriate support strategies to help them integrate into school life."
